Local configuration for Copper Beeches. These options will eventually sync with the central DutyCloud backend and define how this home’s board behaves.

These options are placeholders until the central rota integration is wired in. For now they act as documentation so we know how Copper Beeches is intended to connect.

This controls which rota entries are considered “on duty” for the TV board.
Saved to the DutyCloud database (not in code). This link is not shown on the TV board.
Enable automatic rota sync
If enabled, DutyCloud will poll the ICS feed regularly for changes.

In future, these fields will be validated against your central rota connector and locked down at company level where needed.

These settings only affect Copper Beeches. Later, a company-wide template can standardise defaults across all homes.

These defaults are applied when new staff are created via the Staff screen or future rota imports for Copper Beeches.

Normally this stays in sync with the URL path and won’t need editing.
These allow Copper Beeches to opt into / out of experimental features during rollout.

None of these toggles are wired in yet – they’re here so we agree how future config will look once the DutyCloud backend is live.
